The purpose of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is to change “lean backward meetings” to “lean forward meetings” , where the result is more participation, more insights surfaced, more engagement and, ultimately, more commitment and faster implementations.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method (LSP) is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for use with organizations, teams and individuals.
What to expect from a LSP workshop
If this is your first experience with LSP method, prepare yourself for lot of serious fun and useful insights!
The workshop is organized around the “challenging question” the team needs to answer; this question is decided upfront and drives the entire workshop execution: N.B. there are never two identical workshops!
Using the bricks is a scientifically proven method to encourage participants to stay 100% engaged; also through the hands, the brain is stimulated allowing to discover what one does not know yet to know!
You can expect lot of honest insights created during a workshop, for this reason it is key to create an environment where each participant feels free to share his story and receive feedback.
Remember: LSP is not to force a solution into a team, it is about finding solution together, in a collaborative way; this is a strong accelerator for implementation of the directions and findings.
