Here, music and poetry converge in a dimension of their own—a synthesis of verb and feeling. In this new work, Marco di Stefano embarks on a creative dialogue with poetress Lucilla Trapazzo, weaving music through six of her poems to reinvent their form and feeling.
The project bridges two worlds, translating the concrete form of the written word into the ethereal language of musical notes. This passage reveals a profound desire for connection, creating a common ground where art forms merge.
Lucilla Trapazzo’s poetry is the guardian of emotion; Marco di Stefano’s music is the key that unlocks it. His composition is an act of artistic empathy—a courageous journey into another’s creative world to make it intensely personal. The musical score becomes a new kind of text, a double-channel code inviting listeners to experience the space where the poem ends and the song begins.

E i luoghi da dove arrivano più richieste d’aiuto sono Brescia (dove è fortissima la presenza della comunità pakistana), Emilia Romagna. E Sicilia dove i casi conosciuti sono almeno dodici ogni anno, la metà di quelli italiani. Si sta parlando delle spose-bambine, ragazzine che vorrebbero ancora giocare e sono obbligate a rapporti sessuali, metter su famiglia, gestirla.
“Salmodia” è racconto e carezza, versi e amore, disperazione e violenza, un omaggio alla bambina e la narrazione della donna, ma è anche un pesante atto d’accusa.
Nato dai versi di Lucilla Trapazzo e sulle musiche di Marco Di Stefano, è diventato un video ideato e prodotto da Rosa Di Stefano (riprese e montaggio di Duilio Scalici, direttore della fotografia Danilo Pisano) che viene proposto, nelle scuole, nella giornata simbolica dell’8 marzo a sostegno delle “spose bambine”.
