Privacy Statement

This privacy statement was last updated on 18 September 2026 and explains what Disme srl does with the personal data obtained through marcodistefano.com. It is written to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Disme srl, Rue Leopold Procureur 20, 1090 Brussels, Belgium, VAT BE0753504413. You can reach us at info@marcodistefano.com.

2. What we collect, and why

2.1 Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form we process your first and last name, your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to answer you, on the basis of your request (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest). Messages are delivered and stored by Hetzner, our email provider, and are retained in our mailbox for as long as the enquiry remains relevant, and at most three years after the last contact.

2.2 Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter we process your email address on the basis of your consent. Your address is stored with Brevo, our newsletter provider, and is used only to send occasional updates about concerts, recording sessions and releases. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

2.3 Analytics

If — and only if — you accept the “analytics” category, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are anonymised. You can withdraw this consent at any time from the “Manage cookies” control in the footer; see the cookie policy.

2.4 Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request data such as IP address, browser type and requested page in order to deliver the site securely and to mitigate abuse. This is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available, and these logs are short-lived.

3. Embedded content

Videos from YouTube and players from Spotify sit behind the “external media” consent category, and then behind a second click to start playing. Until you allow that category nothing at all is requested from those services — not even the thumbnails, which are served from this site. Once a player does load, the service receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is shared only with the processors named above (Hetzner, Brevo, Google, Vercel), each acting on our instructions, and with authorities where the law requires it.

5. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to limit misuse of and unauthorised access to personal data.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@marcodistefano.com and please state clearly who you are, so that we do not modify or delete the data of the wrong person.

7. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.

8. Changes

We may amend this statement. The date at the top always shows when it was last updated.
